Symrise received the prestigious "Partner to Win Award" from Unilever at the award ceremony on 2 April 2025 in London. The prestigious award recognises Symrise's contributions to innovation, sustainability and collaboration.
Unilever honoured the Symrise initiative "Bridging the Gap: Transforming Mint Supply Chains through Decarbonisation, Sustainability, and Empowerment". This programme focuses on transforming India's mint supply chains and addresses environmental, social and economic challenges. The programme reaches a total of 25,000 farmers in Uttar Pradesh and has successfully implemented sustainable solutions. These include the use of renewable energy, water-saving systems and climate-friendly agricultural practices. The initiative ensures the sustainable procurement of raw materials. At the same time, it strengthens local farmers, increases their income and stabilises the supply chain.
Members of Symrise's top management accepted the award during the ceremony. The participation of CEO Dr Jean-Yves Parisot, TN&H CEO Walter Ribeiro, Global President Fragrance Division Ricardo Omori, Global Account Director Unilever S&C Paul Chater, SVP Global Accounts Food & Beverage John Triggs and VP Global Account Unilever F&B Claus Boenisch underlined the importance of the award.
