The international packaging and paper group Mondi is strengthening its machinery at the Eschenbach/Germany site with state-of-the-art technology in order to be able to optimally meet customer requirements in the area of e-commerce. The investment of around EUR 9 m includes modernizations along the entire process chain: the installation of a state-of-the-art folding carton inliner machine, additional tape applications for the corrugator, as well as an upgrade in the area of automation with packing robots and a new automatic bundling system.

The packaging requirements of online mail order companies can vary greatly, which the plant can address with an even wider range of individual solution options for a wide variety of needs thanks to the new technical equipment.
