The Handtmann Filling and Portioning Systems Division (F&P) is investing around EUR 14 m in the construction of a new assembly hall in Biberach/Germany. The specialist for cross-process technology solutions in food processing is part of the diversified Handtmann Group. CTO Dr Mark Betzold explains: “In order to secure the growth course we have embarked on, to continue to meet the increasing demand in terms of capacity in the future and to make no compromises in quality or technology, it makes sense to expand and optimize the production plants.”

The new assembly hall with an additional 7,280 m² allows production and especially assembly to be realigned and made scalable. This is intended to further expand competitiveness and market position. The completion of the new assembly hall is planned for the end of 2023. With the expansion of production capacities, new jobs will also be created in Biberach in modern cycle production. A further increase in personnel is planned for the coming years.
