Back pain – it is a common problem, especially in the logistics industry. Due to the manual handling involved in pallet strapping and frequent repetitive motion, employees in logistics can quickly suffer from this problem. A problem that ErgoPack Germany from Lauingen in Swabia has solved. With the mobile, ergonomic ErgoPack strapping system, packaged goods can be ergonomically and safely strapped on pallets – without bending over and without having to walk around the pallet. Yet, the company does not only focus on the health factor, it also covers the topic of process reliability and efficiency. The ErgoPack system enables safe strapping for both the user and the packaged goods, because with it the user remains standing upright and is thus easily recognized by passing forklift traffic. In addition, unlike manual strapping, the strapping cannot twist. A possible loss of tearing force of up to 30 % is thus excluded. Another advantage of the solution is the higher speed: Strapping a pallet is twice as fast as by manual means.
