Constantia Flexibles, the world’s third largest flexible packaging manufacturer, recently signed an agreement to acquire Drukpol Flexo, a Polish flexible packaging company. “We are excited about this opportunity to invest in the growth of our European flexographic printing platform while strengthening our successful presence in Poland,” said Pim Vervaat, CEO of Constantia Flexibles. Zenon Ziemak, founder and owner of Drukpol Flexo, emphasized: “I am convinced that Drukpol Flexo has found the right partner for the future and will continue to grow under the wings of Constantia Flexibles.”

Founded in 1992 and employing around 200 people, the company is an established player in the Polish flexible packaging market, with high expertise in flexo printing, extrusion lamination and vertical integration. It mainly serves the national food and HPC market for local and international customers. The company brings in two additional sites near the Polish capital Warsaw. This is highly complementary to Constantia Flexibles’ existing sites, Constantia Teich Poland in Rogowiec and Constantia ColorCap in Jejkowice. The acquisition is subject to antitrust clearance and other closing conditions and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023.
