Caotech: wide assortment for chocolate production


Caotech has a worldwide reputation as a specialist in self-developed ball mills and conches within the cocoa and chocolate-related processing sector. The company’s scope of supply covers a wide range of installations, varying from a small lab size ball mill type CAO B5 and the lab conche CWC 5 to the CAO B3000 batch installation and the CAO 4000 ball mill as a component in a continuous production line for both cocoa and chocolate to complete turnkey projects. The CAO 4000-Choc In-Line installation (image) is a fully automated processing line for the production of chocolate and compound with capacities of up to 2.000 kg/h. Upon customer’s requirements, the line can be completed with an ingredients feeding section. The line has been developed for chocolate, compound, bread spreads and crèmes. The continuous system can be perfectly used for these heat sensitive masses.•
