The DS Smith Group has reorganized its personnel in the packaging sector in Germany and Switzerland. Uwe Väth (48) has been responsible for the further development of both markets as Managing Director since the end of January 2020. Väth comes from Schenck Process, where he successfully served as Vice President of Operations for around five years. Philip Bautil, who previously served as Managing Director for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland, will in future concentrate on the Benelux.
