With its belt cleaning system BEbelt, Beam has “revolutionized” the cleaning of conveyor belts and set a benchmark for the efficient and ecological way of cleaning in the food industry. “The new BEbelt was specially developed for belt cleaning in chocolate and praline production, in bakeries and pastry shops and other areas of the food industry,” says General Manager Marco Wiedemann. “The world’s first mobile belt cleaning system is simply connected to our HACCP-certified Blue Evolution XL+ steam suction system.” The company has now added more and offers the BEbelt in flexible sizes: in addition to the standard width of 400 mm, widths of up to 650 mm are also available, made to measure. The steam and suction unit can be individually adjusted and moved horizontally in the stainless steel frame so that even conveyor belts up to 1,200 mm wide can be cleaned. The system works completely chemical-free with dry steam up to 180 °C hot.
