At this year’s FachPack trade fair, Avery Dennison, a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive products, presented its ADTP2 EcoCut labelling solution for the logistics sector for the first time. The innovation, the latest addition to the Monarch family of printers, is the first market-ready solution that allows users to select – and vary – the exact length and quantity of labels they need. Compared to traditional logistical labelling systems, this can reduce total costs by up to 40 % – mainly because less material is wasted.

“Labelling applications vary from shipping labels to carton labels to pallet labels and more,” said Roberto Mauro, Commercial General Manager EMEA, Avery Dennison Printer Solutions. “Previously, each of these applications required a separate label roll that was specifically tailored for this application, as well as a separate printer for each roll. Now there is a better way: the EcoCut labelling system was developed to eliminate these inefficiencies”.
