Koelnmesse appoints new vice presidents for food fairs

Koelnmesse sees great potential and international growth opportunities in its Food and FoodTec areas of expertise. In order to accommodate this growth, the business unit will be divided into two units starting 1 June 2022 and managed by two experienced trade fair managers. Claire Steinbrück (39), previously Director imm cologne, has been named Vice President FoodTec. She will be assuming responsibility for the Cologne trade fairs ProSweets Cologne, Anuga FoodTec and euvend & coffeena as well as for the respective portfolio of events abroad. Bastian Mingers (38) is transferring from Messe Düsseldorf to Cologne to assume responsibility for the Food business unit. He will be assuming responsibility for ISM, Anuga, the premiere event Anuga Horizon and the portfolio of events abroad.

“We are delighted to have been able to gain two experienced trade fair managers in Claire Steinbrück and Bastian Mingers,” said Gerald Böse, Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse GmbH. “Together with their teams, they will further develop and expand the future Food and FoodTec business units. I am convinced of the international growth opportunities for our existing events in these areas, but also for premieres like Anuga Horizon.” Claire Steinbrück and Bastian Mingers succeed Anne Schumacher, who left the company at the end of February 2022.
