The Elgin, Illinois-based Middleby Corporation, a leading worldwide manufacturer of equipment solutions for commercial foodservice, food processing, and residential kitchens, has announced the acquisition of the Darmstadt, Germany-based Oka-Spezialmaschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG (Oka), expanding its portfolio of Middleby Food Processing equipment innovations.  

Oka is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial extrusion, molding, depositing and cutting industrial production equipment in bakery, confectionery and pet-food markets. The company has annual revenues of USD 12 m.

The acquisition further strengthens Middleby’s ability to provide long term shareholder value in the food processing business after the spinoff is completed in 2026.
