Lycored eyes increased output capacity with new US facility

Lycored has opened a new processing plant in Branchburg, New Jersey/USA which is set to maximize both the quantity and quality of its ingredients. The global wellness company will be using the facility for its carotenoids, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and real food ingredients. The plant is slated to enable the company to maximize the purity, efficacy and shelf-stability of its ingredients while exponentially increasing output capacity.

The processing facility provides advanced capabilities for milling, blending, drying and coating, with extensive opportunities for customization. In addition, the site features an application lab and production line supporting taste application development. The facility is FDA-registered, cGMP-complaint and NSF-certified. It is allergen-free, with temperature- and humidity-controlled environments.

Lycored’s new plant follows a previous multi-million dollar move to double its lycopene production. The three-year investment targeted new lines, equipment as well as process and supply optimization strategies in a bid to harvest “record volumes” of tomatoes.
