Andrea Boggio (50) has joined Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate as General Manager. In his new role, he will lead the business which includes – through the three brands Carle & Montanari, OPM and Fima – equipment for the chocolate process, moulding and wrapping, and for a broad range for primary and secondary packaging. He will report to Giovanni Campolungo, Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate Chief Executive Officer.

Andrea Boggio, who holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico of Milan/Italy, joins Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate from the Swiss chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli, where he spent the entirety of his career. In recent years, he served as Vice President of Operations for the company’s Italian subsidiary Caffarel. In this role, he was responsible for the Turin based plant, including the whole production supply chain and its related manufacturing P & L.
