ISM and ProSweets Cologne to organize future congress for sweets and snacks industries

On 4 February 2020 in Cologne, everything will be revolving around the future of the sweets and snacks industry. “#CONNECT2030 – The Future Summit for Sweets and Snacks” is the name of the new format of ISM and ProSweets Cologne, which are being staged parallel. The industry is faced with numerous challenges. The changed buying and communication behaviour of the consumers, ecological themes such as sustainability, the observance of environmental and social standards across the supply chain and increasingly shorter innovation cycles are just a few of the keywords. Networking becomes an increasingly stronger success factor.

Yet, where is the journey headed, which new opportunities do digital solutions offer and which new business fields get the company geared up for the future? In the scope of a joint event for suppliers, manufacturers and the trade of the sweets and snacks industry #CONNECT2030 will answer these and other questions.

The innovation expert Nick Sohnemann, Future Candy, will be hosting the evening. Among others Dr Ulf Merbold, physicist and former astronaut, will set further impulses with his keynote speech.

Inspiring perspectives for the sweets and snack industry, renowned speakers and an intensive networking in the form of a Captains Dinner await the trade visitors. The event will take place from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cologne Exhibition Center, Congress Center East, Congress Hall.
