Optima: From entry-level solutions to efficient turnkey technologies

Optima adds new entry-level solutions to its range of machines, as exemplified by the versatile, well-matched filling and sealing machines Optima FM1 and CM1, which are also suited for stand-alone applications. Turnkey solutions such as Optima Consumer’s Moduline are regarded as technological leaders. What’s more, at the FachPack trade show Optima will showcase the InlineCan, a cardboard can made right on location.
The novel Optima FM1 can handle liquid and tough-flowing products: food, cosmetics, and chemicals. Two different pump systems give the system a broad scope of applicability, excellent filling precision, and low-shear processing abilities. The FM1 can work with volumes of up to 1,000 ml at a maximum output of 90 containers per minute. This is rounded out by the Optima CM1’s sealing technology that can be extended to accommodate a plethora of sealing types in a flexible manner.
In addition, Optima will present the new InlineCans, cardboard cans that are fabricated, filled and, where necessary, processed up to the final packaging in a continuous process. The efficiency benefits in terms of storage and logistics are staggering. At the PoS the packaging impresses with its custom design and high quality. As a novel and unparalleled machine concept, the InlineCan is realised together with special machine manufacturer Hörauf. The SoftCan is designed along a similar principle: Here too, the packaging is made 'inline' right from the coil and filled straight away.
