With the ConfecEco-D One-Shot line, the ZDS has obtained a new centrepiece to aid vocational training in the chocolatry sector. The system was provided by the company Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS). The system was ­inaugurated on the occasion of the Inter-Praline convention held in Solingen on 25 November, allowing visitors to convince themselves of the new ­series‘ performance during a demonstration run. The latest member in the WDS’ machine park picks up where the existing range of low-capacity lines left off. The ConfecEco, says WDS, is the perfect choice when it comes to the requirements of small-scale enterprises. Measuring 7.20 m in length and 2.5 tonnes in weight, the machine stands as the biggest and heaviest piece of equipment in the technical school‘s arsenal.
