Hugo Beck celebrates its 60th anniversary

Hugo Beck Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG from Dettingen, Germany held an “Open House” this past June 10th and 11th to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary. Hugo Beck was established in 1955 as a mechanical workshop and has since developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machinery for flowpack, film packaging and post-press processing machines. Hugo Beck’s main focus is still the construction of standard and special machinery. In addition, a flow machinery manufacturer was purchased three years ago. In the wake of this the company also moved into a third segment, “Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics and Food”. Hugo Beck is also involved in the sectors of printing, paper, household goods, construction and much more.
According to company statements, Hugo Beck today also features the broadest product portfolio in the shrink-film packaging segment. Customers and OEM partners always find the solutions they need at Hugo Beck, ranging from small packaging for glucose or an 800?mm wide product wrapped in shrink-film, bag packaging or flowpack, at slow or fast speeds, vapour permeable or sealed with gas flushing.
At its “Open Days” festivities Hugo Beck presented new and established systems at work on the job, both in the introductory and high-end sector. These included flowpack, bag and shrink-film packaging plus flexibly applicable feeders and peripheral equipment.
