Erdogan Çoban, CEO of the family-owned company Sölen, received the prestigious European Candy Kettle Award at a glamorous gala at Çıragan Palace in Istanbul. The award is presented annually by the European Candy Kettle Club (ECKC). The club has existed since 1973 and always unites 30 member companies in various European countries operating in the supply sector. In addition to ECKC members, leading figures from the business world, representatives of industry associations, media representatives, and Sölen's business partners from home and abroad participated in the event.

Heiko Kühn of Hänsel Processing, Chairman of the ECKC, said in his laudatory speech: ”With its outstanding achievements in research and development, high product quality, and innovative strength, Sölen has made a unique contribution to the progress of the industry and thus deserves the European Candy Kettle Club Award 2025.” Founded in 1989 by Ismail Çoban in Gaziantep, the company distributes well-known brands such as Ozmo, Biscolata, Milango, Boombastic, Luppo, Papita, and Nutymax and ships its products to 120 countries.

The Çoban family has continuously ­invested in its two factories near ­Istanbul and in the home region and has today a wealth of state-of-the-art production and packaging facilities. ”This prestigious award is a source of pride not only for us, but also for our country and our industry.
