Capol acquires Blue Pacific Flavors


Blue Pacific Flavors, a pioneer in natural and organic flavour systems, is entering a new phase of global corporate development and flavour innovation with its acquisition by Capol, a Freudenberg Group company. The transaction, effective 1 September 2025, combines leading expertise in beverages, confectionery and food coatings to create a globally positioned food ingredients supplier with complementary strengths. The aim is to drive innovation in flavours, surface treatments and product development across the entire food and beverage industry. Donald Wilkes will remain CEO of Blue Pacific Flavors. Thanks to an unchanged team, customers will benefit from continuity and a smooth transition in customer care complemented by the expanded opportunities offered by the global reach and resources of an internationally positioned group of companies. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.

By strategically combining its extensive expertise in beverages, confectionery and food coatings, the Capol Group will offer its customers in the international food industry a unique range of innovative flavours and functional surface treatments. At the same time, it will expand its global presence with excellent service and reliable supply in North America, Europe and Asia.
