With the MP-22-1000-400-J weighing system, Multipond offers a complete solution for weighing sweetened jelly products. The multihead weigher weighs 200 cycles per minute at a nominal filling weight of 200 g. The key to the high performance is the DSE-Q discharge hopper unit. Compared to its predecessor, the hopper flaps have been rotated by 90°. This eliminates the limitation of transfer performance due to product carry-over. To minimize adhesion of the sticky product, Multipond uses 3D-printed stainless steel grid flaps. Due to its hygienically optimized lightweight construction, the DSE-Q operates quietly. This solution can be retrofitted to existing machines.

The sugar of the jelly products, which comes off on its way into the weighing hopper due to the process, is specifically diverted out of the product flow at the end of the feed trays by means of specially designed outlets and transferred into a rotating ring-shaped collecting container, the so-called sugar ring. This ring is then drawn off by vacuum or by means of a plough. This sophisticated additional equipment significantly reduces the amount of loose sugar in the product stream and significantly improves the sealing quality of the downstream packaging machine.

The MP-22-1000-400-J “gummy bear scale” is equipped with all specialized features. These include two Multipond innovations: as an upgrade of the BDE 14, the new BDE 16 operating unit is even more shockresistant and can withstand impacts of up to 5 kg from a drop height of 40 cm – this corresponds to protection class IK10. It is also splash-proof (protection class IP69) and can be cleaned easily and safely thanks to its hygienic design.
