Attractive outside and delicious inside: when it comes to sweet baked goods, a reliable appearance is just as important as optimal taste. The Westfälische Lebensmittelwerke Lindemann GmbH & Co. “When we develop new products, we always do it from the user’s point of view,” states Marketing Manager, Sonja Bruning-Mescher. “Aspects such as easy application, storage and portioning, consistent results and stability in display are extremely important for master bakers. Our products meet these requirements”.

“Supersnow”, for example, is a decorating powder for dusting cakes and pastries such as doughnuts or stollen. It has a very fine texture, contains no palm oil and, unlike icing sugar, does not dissolve on moist or greasy surfaces. The result is a beautiful, even appearance. The 10-kg bag is easy to store.

“Creme Exquisit” is very suitable for the manufacture of imitation whipping creams with a cream-like character. Packaged in a 10-kg bag, it is a versatile light filling cream that can be enhanced with cream fonds, yoghurt, buttermilk or chocolate. It is mixed with water or milk for only 5 min and is used after baking.

“Kaltkrem Super”, packaged in a 10-kg bag, can be mixed without lumps in a flash with water and/or milk using a wire whisk and can be refined as desired. It has a full-bodied vanilla flavour and is ideal for fine fillings, such as custard-filled sweet pretzels baked on a tray. The cold cream keeps its shape, supports the topping and is resistant to baking, freezing and cutting.

“Geleeguss Klar” is a clear gelatine glaze with a delicate bite, great setting and high acid stablility. The concentrated base gel in a 15-kg pail for the manufacture of light glazes for fruit flans or fruit bars is suitable for vegans and has a pleasant fine apricot aroma. It can be stored, frozen and defrosted without any problems.
