New web seminar series on incoming goods inspection and supplier audit

The processes in incoming goods inspection have a significant influence on the various work processes in all production stages and ultimately also on costs. Every company has its own conditions for inventory management – what they all have in common is that only an efficient incoming goods department enables smooth subsequent processes without interruptions.

How the quality of raw materials can be continuously guaranteed in incoming goods, what the essential tools for incoming goods inspection are, and which qualifications are required by employees can be learned in the ZDS web seminar series “Efficient incoming goods inspection” starting on 13 April 2021.

The web seminar is divided into four blocks of three hours each, which build on each other. In order to be able to address the different requirements of the companies, the seminar participants have the opportunity to name their raw materials at the beginning of the seminar. On the basis of these, the trainer Ms Christa Schuster-Salas will set up an efficient incoming goods control together with the participants during this seminar. The first part of the series will deal with the basics of incoming goods control, while the other blocks will examine the topics of raw material science, risk analysis and monitoring.

Ms Schuster-Salas will present also a web seminar on “Holistic Supplier Auditing” in the second quarter of the year. A holistic supplier audit represents a key tool in the selection and evaluation of suppliers as well as the increase of value creation in the company. In this web seminar, participants will learn the basics of audit planning, preparation, execution and reporting.
