The Vemag portioning device MMP223 extrudes extremely stable shapes such as bars of all kind as well as blocks and other formed products. Together with the extrusion unit HP30, the device has been developed for a productive and continuous operation ensuring outstanding weight accuracy and minimum giveaway.

The extruded product string is placed onto the conveyor belt automatically and carried to the servomotor-driven knife. The revolving knife divides the product string precisely into single portions. The desired product shape can be chosen individually thanks to the inserted nozzle. The MMP223 is readjusted to any product size in a few simple steps.

Vemag has modified the portioning device by adding an optional nozzle: a profitable solution which allows the bar to be extruded with a topping such as caramel in various forms and densities during the production process. To round off the product range, the company offers the addition of further toppings such as crispies after portioning and cutting the product.

The system achieves an output of up to 200 portions for a single-lane production. The products remain reliably separated and stable in form even at the highest production speed.
