After the summer holidays: end of the forced break

After many weeks of a forced shut-down due to Corona, a little normality is now returning to the ZDS – Zentralfachschule der Deutschen Süßwarenwirtschaft e. V. Now, it remains to be seen whether there will actually be a second wave of infections.

After the summer holidays, classes will start with classroom teaching for all students of the vocational school and students of the technical school according to the regular timetable with an appropriate hygiene concept. The ZDS is also prepared for a possible increase of infections and a resulting partial or complete shut-down of the school: in this case, distance learning will take place again, as in the weeks of the first lockdown.

The seminar offers are also ready for the various scenarios: for example, presence courses will continue to be held in compliance with hygiene rules, but also various courses offered as webinars, such as the seminar “Challenge Oilseeds & Nuts”, which will take place from 28 to 29 September 2020. This seminar will focus on oilseeds and their processing. In order to process the different seeds and raw materials from processed seeds, for example marzipan as raw material or nut as ingredient, safely and efficiently, specialist knowledge is required, which you can acquire in this webinar.

All dates and current information about the vocational school and the training and seminar area can be found at the specified web address.
