N. Haubensak
The Board of Directors of the Hochdorf Group has appointed Nanette Haubensak as its new CFO and member of senior management team. She took over the role recently from Jürgen Brandt. Nanette Haubensak is a trained economist employed by the Rieter Group, from 2006 to 2019 as Head of Corporate Development and Head of Finance & Controlling for the Components Division and subsequently the Machines & Systems Division. From 2001 to 2006, she worked at Infineon Technologies AG.

Dr Jan Klingele
Dr Jan Klingele, Managing Partner of the Klingele Group, has been elected Chairman of the International Corrugated Case Association (ICCA). The structures and members of the ICCA are very familiar to Dr Jan Klingele: he has been representing Europe on the board of the ICCA for four years. In his new
position, he wants above all to promote exchange between the national associations, expand the virtual presence of the ICCA and create a good data foundation for information and communication through meaningful statistics.

Michael König
The Supervisory Board of Symrise AG elected Michael König as its new Chairman. He succeeds Dr Winfried Steeger who was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Symrise AG in 2012 and served as its Chairman from August 2019 onward. Michael König is the CEO of the publicly traded Elkem ASA, a leading supplier of silicone-based high-performance materials based in Oslo/Norway. Prior to this, he spent four years as CEO of China National Bluestar, a supplier of new chemicals and animal nutritional products.

Samuel Schär
Bühler’s Executive Board Member Dieter Vögtli has passed away recently due to a short but major illness. He headed the global Service & Sales (SAS) organization. Samuel Schär has taken over the responsibilities as head of the global SAS organization in addition to his current function as CEO of the
Advanced Materials business. He graduated as a physics engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and joined Bühler in 2002. In 2013, he was promoted to the Executive Board as CEO of the Advanced Materials business.
