Dirk Poelman, Chief Ope-rations Officer (COO) and member of the Executive Committee of Barry Callebaut, will retire as per the end of the company’s fiscal year, 31 August 2019. The Board of Directors has appointed Olivier Delaunay, since 2012 Vice President OSCO (Operations & Supply Chain Organization) EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), as Dirk Poelman’s successor and member of the Executive Committee, effective 1 September 2019. Olivier Delaunay had already worked for the group from 1987 to 1994.
