Bastian Fassin (46), Katjes Fassin GmbH & Co. KG, is the new chairman of the Association of the German Confectionery Industry (BDSI). He was elected by the General Meeting of the BDSI as the successor to Stephan Nießner, Ferrero Deutschland GmbH. Since 2004, Bastian Fassin, together with Tobias Bachmüller, has been Managing Partner of Katjes Fassin GmbH & Co. KG and also the main shareholder of Katjes International GmbH & Co KG. He has been a member of the BDSI Presidium since 2008.
