Food manufacturers and packagers often produce under demanding environmental conditions, are subject to strict hygiene regulations and pack different products on the same line. The efficiency of each production step has to be maximised.

The company Paul Leibinger has specialised in the reliable fulfilment of the product labelling process and recently presented its industrial inkjet printers at the packaging fair Empack in Zurich/Switzerland. Their fully automatic Sealtronic nozzle sealing system prevents the ink from drying out and ensures that the printers can be started at any time with just one click within seconds – without the need for time-consuming cleaning.

The Jet3up Pro model complies with IP65 protection class, making it ideal for wet and dusty environments. Equipped with an FDA-compliant ink, it also meets strict food safety requirements.

The inkjet printers label all conceivable materials during production with fixed and variable data such as best-before date, LOT numbers, QR codes or barcodes. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the development and production “Made in Germany”, the printers meet the highest quality standards.
