The food manufacturer, whose programme also includes sweets, bakery and fruit preparations, has been one of the country’s most successful family businesses for more than 160 years. At the turn of the year, Josef Mayer, former chairman of the management board of the Spitz corporate group, after ten years handed over the agenda to Walter Scherb jun. who has been with Spitz for three years.
