ADVERTORIAL: Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen presents innovative technologies for confectionery production at the iba 2023 in Munich

Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS), manufacturer of confectionery machines, will be represented at the leading world trade fair for bakery, confectionery and snacks – iba – in Munich in October 2023.

Under the motto "WDS – Home of Confectionery Diversity: Production Lines for All Capacity Requirements", the company will be showcasing customised production lines for chocolate, gum and jelly, toffee, fondant and hard candy.

WDS is well known as a specialist for depositing technology and will be presenting innovative solutions for all pourable and tearable masses and special applications in the confectionery industry. Thanks to precise depositing systems and exact control technology, WDS technologies achieve maximum dosing accuracy, making the production of high-quality confectionery possible.

There will be a special focus on the two innovative machine models ConfecECO and ConfecPRO. The ConfecECO is the flexible entry-level line for series production and is suitable not only for the production of chocolate products but also for pectin, toffee and fondant products. With production capacities of up to 600 or 900 kg/h for chocolate and of up to 250 kg/h resp. 700 kg/h for jelly products, the ConfecECO fulfils the special requirements of the target group. The ConfecECO makes the production of solid and filled confectionery in different sizes and geometries possible, as well as the use of silicone or polycarbonate moulds. In addition, this machine type is ideal for the production of gum and jelly products with added food supplements.

The ConfecPRO is a production plant for confectionery manufacturers who are striving to achieve medium to high output rates. The modular design in connection with the decentralised electrical control system makes simple, future-oriented extension possible. WDS has developed the successful advantages of the ConfecPRO further as a production plant for chocolate products and offers the ConfecPRO in a jelly version as well, a starchless plant for the production of gum and jelly products. The ConfecPRO is characterised by its completely paint-free design, simple cleaning, easy accessibility and good visibility in soiled areas, thus meeting high hygienic requirements. EasyClean components make simple set-up and cleaning possible in all areas which are in contact with the mass. The ConfecPRO thus meets maximum hygienic requirements and is also available as a qualified plant for the production of OTC sweets and supplements.
