A change of ownership and management has been announced at leading Dutch cocoa warehousing company HD Cotterell BV. After the recent signing of a definitive agreement, 1 March 2019 will see the company acquired by Rolf Hulleman, Geert Habers and Oscar Brouwer.
Mr Brouwer will join the company as Managing Director on the same date. He has 20 years of experience in the international cocoa market and until recently was General Manager at a leading cocoa warehouse-keeper in Hamburg. He also served at the Federation of Cocoa Commerce (FCC) and was a Council Member (Trade) and a member of the FCC’s Arbitration and Appeal Committee.
Mr Hulleman and Mr Habers have been supplying temporary warehouse and port labour to cocoa warehouse-keepers in the port of Amsterdam. They also serviced the cocoa industry in other European ports, including challenging assignments handling damaged cocoa. In this capacity, they are well-versed in the handling of cocoa beans, in bags and bulk, and cocoa products.
