Effective 1 January 2017 Multivac Deutschland, based in Wolfertschwenden, Germany, will change its name and business structure into Multivac Deutschland GmbH und Co. KG, making the sales and service organisation in Germany an independent subsidiary of the international Multivac group. This spin-off of the German Multivac sales and service company is a component of the strategic measures Multivac is currently undertaking to optimise its corporate structure. However, according to Managing Director and CEO Hans-Joachim Boekstegers, the legal separation of sales and service businesses and production companies “has no effect on the ownership terms or the personnel situation”. Dr. Jens Müller will assume the position of Managing Director from January 1st, 2017. Since 2013 he has supervised Multivac’s international sales in central Europe as the Vice President of Sales & Operation, and he is now looking forward to continuing working successfully together with the company’s customers.
