Die World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) hat mitgeteilt, dass Chris Vincent, der bisherige Interimspräsident, zum neuen Präsidenten der Nachhaltigkeitsorganisation ernannt wurde und dass Peter Boone, Chief Executive Officer von Barry Callebaut, ihr neuer Chairman wird.  

Vincent tritt die Nachfolge von Martin Short an, der im August zurücktrat. Boone tritt die Nachfolge von Barry Parkin, Chief Procurement and Sustainability Officer von Mars Inc., an, der den Vorstand der gemeinnützigen Organisation acht Jahre lang leitete. Parkin wird der Stiftung weiterhin als Vorstandsmitglied angehören und Mars vertreten.

Der Vorstand hat außerdem zwei neue Vorstandsmitglieder ernannt: Tricia Brannigan, Chief Procurement Officer und Vice President Global Procurement bei The Hershey Company, sowie Peter Blommer, Vice Chairman von Blommer. Christine McGrath, Vice President und Chief of Global Impact Sustainability and Well-being bei Mondelez International, bleibt für eine weitere Amtszeit im Vorstand.
