Bösch Boden Spies offers workshops for product development

The ingredients specialist Bösch Boden Spies now shares its fruit and nut ingredient expertise in workshops hosted at its Hamburg headquarters. Manufacturers can learn more about the possible use of various ingredients and work with experts on individual projects at the company’s in-house Ingredient Technology Center (ITC).

Commissioned in 2017, the ITC is IFS-certified and unique/unprecedented in the industry as an in-house project. With its extensive equipment, it provides for Bösch Boden Spies the necessary space for innovation: Every day, the development team analyzes the technological properties of fruit and nut ingredients and their effects on the end product and the production process. Beyond this, the experts regularly author case studies and develop product prototypes – always bearing in mind the latest trends, functionalities, and new possible applications. Customers can now experience this live during the workshops.

The starting point are half-day training sessions for which the company opens its doors to product developers from the food industry. Participants visit the ITC, interact with selected ingredient specialists, test applications, and gain an insight into the possibilities that fruit and nut ingredients offer for product development. Producers looking for individual solutions can arrange for a custom-tailored innovation workshop. These one- or two-day workshops are designed for individual manufacturers in the food industry who wish to work with the experts at Bösch Boden Spies to jointly develop concrete solutions for optimizing existing products or developing new products.
